VEGANISM – also known as the ‘rabbit food’ diet adopted by the ‘tree-hugging clan’.

The idea that veganism is weird is widespread.

But I have no idea why.

When you look at the facts, it is not that everyone should go vegan, but that everyone must go vegan.

The most common myth about vegans is that we cannot get enough protein.

But plants have definitely got us covered in that department.

One hundred calories worth of beef provides you with 5.4g of protein but broccoli provides 4.2g of protein per 148g serving.

The feeling that you must eat meat is totally invalid.

Your health and your wallet will thank you. If they could, I’m sure animals and the environment would too.

Replacing one pound of beef with a vegan meal will save up to 5,000 gallons of water in food production.

That’s a lot more than turning your taps off while you brush your teeth.

Many believe humans are made to eat meat.

I think if you compare our teeth, jaw muscles, stomach acidity, intestine length etc with carnivores and herbivores it’s quite clear to see where we fit.

Vegan food is cheaper, and much easier to buy for (once you have made the switch).

You will feel fuller for longer and have so much more energy.

So what are you waiting for?

Give it a go.

It just makes sense.
