Due partly to the recession and partly to irresponsible pet ownership, more and more animals are being abandoned.
The financial responsibility for these animals then passes to hard-pressed rescue centres – food and veterinary care for so many does not come cheap.
Kitty In The City, a registered charity, is just one of these centres. It is holding a fundraising charity fair this Saturday from 11am until 2pm at St Philip’s Church, New Church Road, Hove. Please come along, grab yourself a bargain and at the same time help homeless cats find a better future.
