I fully agree with the comments of Kenny Lloyd in his letter (The Argus, November 29), in relation to Councillor Dawn Barnett’s pending disciplinary hearing.
The word “golliwog” is not racist in my view – anyone who believes it is surely does not live in the real world.
Coun Barnett works tirelessly for the people she serves, at all hours of the day and night, and without any fear or favour.
It is a pity there are not more councillors like her.
Long may she continue to serve her community.
