I congratulate our local Green Party for yet another insensitive, greedy and naive approach to Brighton and Hove’s parking restrictions.
On Easter Sunday, it was business as usual for parking wardens, which is not just a slight against the declared Christians in the city but may cause upset and puzzlement to many car-driving visitors.
How many councils around Britain waived their parking charges on Sunday? I would suggest many but not Brighton and Hove.
Easter Sunday must have been a bumper day for parking tickets and additional revenue for the council.
Does it have no shame?
