Can somebody please explain why the council has dumped a large amount of rubble for some months now on the grass verge on the north side of Wharf Road that runs alongside Hove Lagoon.

Someone has suggested to me that it is to stop cars from double-parking on the grass verge. If this is the case, I find it absolutely incredible!

Surely there has to be a better way to deter people from illegally parking there than to simply dump a load of unsightly rubble on the road side?

Perhaps the council should apply this thinking to all of the public parks in the city to deter travellers from parking there!
