In July 1959 I was diagnosed diabetic at the age of 10 months at Southlands Hospital, thanks to the quick thinking of a young nurse called Kathleen, who became Kathleen Thornton.
Some years ago I managed to trace her to Southview Close, Shoreham and had a telephone number which no longer works.
As I am about to publish a book called Fifty Years of Malfunction, and as I successfully underwent a pancreas and kidney transplant last August, I very much would like Kathleen to know about both.
If any of your readers feel able to help, could they please telephone 01359 231992,or email rgvicat@gmail.com or write to me.
