We had a lovely day at our daughter’s in Lancing only to find on our return home that two of our large plant pots had been stolen.
One contained a large lavender plant and the other a mixed selection with a sweet pea at its centre.
This might seem paltry to some but to us it was quite a lot as we had planted them and looked after them.
Also they were probably worth about £30 to £40, not a great deal perhaps but to us a lot.
We are now worried as this has happened should we not bother with our garden any more which this summer has given quite a bit of pleasure to people walking up our hill.
So to whoever took these I hope you look after them as we did and if you have a conscience perhaps you could return them but we won’t hold our breath.
