I am still your councillor

I am still your councillor

I am still your councillor

First published in Letters

A message to the residents of Woodingdean, who would have read a political paper circulated three weeks back, inferring that I am no longer a councillor for the said ward.

Let me put your minds at rest. I was elected by those of you that took time to go out and vote for me in 2011 for which I thank you.

Rest assured that I am still your ward councillor.

Cllr Geoff Wells, past Mayor and still the City councillor for Woodingdean Ward

'Inferring' is correct because the subject is 'residents of Woodingdean' (not the descriptive sub-clause). But I suspect this was more luck than judgement.
