Bin lorry drivers on the picket line at the Hollingdean depot, Brighton
How nice to see the smiling faces of the drivers on strike at the expense of the residents of this city in The Argus (September 16) as rubbish piles up.
If they think they have a dangerous job go and tell our servicemen and women how dangerous it is to drive an HGV around our city.
I drove one for years and felt safer in that than I did a car.
I hope all the residents remember this at Christmas as this is one fiver they won’t be getting.
