In reply to the story of how to save money for the council, perhaps they may consider saving £70 million on not building that monstrosity on the beach that is planned or maybe take a cut in wages.
I can only add that the council is not a business and should not be treated as such.
If there is a shortfall then it is down to bad management so maybe it’s time for a change.
