I think that Martin Harris of Brighton and Hove Buses must wear rose tinted glasses if he truly believes that the majority of passengers are satisfied with the bus services in Brighton.

His ‘91% of passengers are satified’ quote comes from a survey by Passenger Focus in 2013.

The passengers surveyed were asked questions only relating to the journey they took and not on whether the bus company provided a good service in general.

This type of survey is of no use to the bus company as it only gives snap shots of any particular day.

All the problems passengers currently have to endure have happened since the timetable changes in 2013 and 2014, not long after Mr Harris took up the position of CEO of Brighton and Hove Buses. In my opinion, there is obviously a link here.
