I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who came up to the hearing dogs stand in Brighton Station on Friday.
It was a great chance for so many to meet our fabulous hearing dogs and to get some puppy cuddles to kick off the weekend in the best possible way.
Hearing loss affects one in five of the population and a trained hearing dog will alert its recipient to everyday sounds and dangers they would normally miss.
From the alarm clock to the door bell and from the cooker timer to the fire alarm, deaf people can feel confident and more independent knowing they will not miss out again.
All dogs need daily exercise and this is a great way to meet people and keep fit if you have been feeling a bit isolated due to your deafness.
Generous Brightonians donated £107.91 which will buy three sets of hearing dogs uniforms which bring visibility to an otherwise invisible disability and essential development toys for two of our pups.
If you would like more information on Hearing Dogs or would like a place in the Brighton Marathon 2015, please get in touch.
