The on-going road works in the Lewes Road, that seems never ending, and the disruption is getting worse every week.

It would be nice if the council used their initiative and alleviated some problems by temporarily removing the bollards at the end of Dewe Road and Southall Avenue.

Even if it were only temporary, it would help no end.

The drivers from Higher and Lower Bevendean could use this route to get to Woodingdean and the coast road.

Southall Avenue is already used by traffic as a short cut to Natal Road, to turn on to the Lewes Road, so it wouldn’t make a lot of difference just to travel through Dewe road and turn up Coombe Road.

I can’t see why, when there is no bus in sight, on the bus lane from Mitras House to Coombe Road, that the traffic should be allowed to enter it to turn left into Coombe Road, instead of having to wait sometimes more than ten minutes to get to the entry.
