The picture accompanying your article on dualling the A27 (Argus, November 20) was priceless.
The article was about the campaign to dual the A27 to relieve congestion, yet the picture demonstrated that there are plenty of delays on the sections already dualled.
It showed a big queue of traffic near Hangleton and highlights perfectly that expanding the A27 will not solve congestion problems.
That is why the South Coast Alliance for Transport and the Environment (SCATE), a network of local people, organisations and businesses along the south coast, wants to see cheaper, less damaging and healthier solutions to solving congestion on and around the A27.
