The Argus gave a full front page spread ‘Proud to back small businesses’ showing it was proud of Small Businesses.
Why not encourage new creative small businesses? Brighton is an amazing place, bursting with energy and creativity.
Do we help those who want to advance. Brighton is very much on the tourist map.
The colleges and universities are bursting with energy and we have lots of parks – all beautiful.
We have a service road on Preston Park. Plans are in progress to improve the Old Steine.
Can we think long term and help rather than think short term and squash?
Can we charge reduced rates for stalls? Can we widen the capture area if appropriate? London Road is improving day by day.
Preston Park can be reached from the centre of Brighton and many other groups use Preston Park for festivals.
Brighton’s future and attraction depends on the energy of the creative population.
We need to encourage those people to stay and help the city grow.
