We hear on the news media, newspapers and television, of the NHS not achieving the four-hour target set for seeing patients but the way they report it is more of an accusation than a fact.

I have often been made angry by certain TV presenters and newspaper representatives stating that certain hospitals have failed to achieve that target.

That is to me an accusation. I would use another word, which I find more acceptable, and that would be that they were unable to achieve that target, therefore stating that they have not achieved it through no fault of their own. There is a subtle difference.

Give praise where it is due. Like our security services also, these people who look after our health, and our safety, should be given the veneration that they deserve.
