We are writing to clear up a few things from the report written for last Wednesday’s Argus.
The report stated that our organisers said they felt alienated by the “aggressive” approach of the Stop the March for England and Unite against Fascism counter protesters.
This is not the opinion of our group and it was not stated in the interview. We will continue to work together as a community, united in our efforts to combat racism, promote equality and support each other in our efforts.
We have a common philosophy to stand against discrimination.
This is a big job that cannot be done alone. We are a very small piece of a large amount of work that needs to happen to tackle such a big problem in the UK.
The English Disco Lovers will continue to spread the love through music and dance and in our future events and counter demonstrations.
