Can I give a huge vote of thanks to the CityClean team and their local manager, Mick Sutton, for the recent work they did with a massive mound of fly tipped rubbish near Drovers Close on the Downs Park Estate in North Portslade.
To make matters worse the rubbish was piled up near an informal memorial to a motorcyclist who was killed some years ago.
Downs Park is a really nice estate and the residents do their utmost to keep it clean, tidy and presentable.
That someone cares so little for their community that they dump rubbish in this way is very sad and totally unacceptable but well done to the lads and lassies of CityClean. They deserve our gratitude.
