My son is campaigning for an ice arena in brighton.

I don’t know if you were born and bred in Brighton, but you may or may not realise that Brighton has a long history of having an ice arena although it was more than 35 years ago that the Brighton arena was demolished to make way for the Odeon complex.

It has always been promised by the then town council that a replacement would be found.

I notice the concerns for money in the budget, but that should not be a problem with an ice arena.

As the old ice arena is being used for development it has to be replaced somewhere in Brighton.

So like other projects like the i360 where the city found a loan of £36 million, if we all work together we can get our city’s leisure facilities updated from the 1980s for future generations to enjoy.

It’s not all about money, healthy lifestyles and fun produce. It’s about having a better world so let’s all work together and get our city an ice rink as promised.
