I would like to thank the folk who came to my aid last Sunday afternoon when I fell flat on my face at the clock tower, near Churchill Square.
The lady who called the ambulance, gave a report of my condition, and someone supplied some cover to keep me warm.
I usually play ‘Street Bingo’ when I am out walking, ‘eyes down’ looking for any trip ahead – but I obviously missed that one.
Thanks to A&E at the Royal Sussex County Hospital for the quick attention.
Apart from the usual cuts and bruises, no broken bones.
Peter Turner,
The Drive,
Hove
