A week after the rebuilt roundabout was opened at the Seven Dials in Brighton the curb stones around the outer ring of the roundabout started to lift and break up.

The design is for the lorries and buses to drive over this outer ring of the roundabout.

At last at the end of last week they turned up to work on the roundabout. Instead of sorting the problem with the curb stones they proceeded to plant four iron bell shapes on the inner circle of the roundabout where no one drives over. At the end of Friday they packed up their equipment and left.
