I FELT very indignant when I read Miss A Cork’s letter (Monday, July 13) requesting the council to provide more dog bins.
Heavens above! The council tax rate is high enough for the average family and to provide extra facilities to dispose of horrid dog mess would mean an increase.
Please Miss Cork, give it another thought and take the offensive mess home and dispose of it in your own toilet.
In the same edition of the paper, it was reported that dogs will be banned from school playing fields after two pupils were bitten. It is disgraceful.
that as a result of an irresponsible dog owner a school was unable to deliver lessons and activities to the pupils.
