ON THE employment of high-paid council officers employed by Brighton and Hove City Council in Monday’s Argus: It is the amount of different departments that operate within it all doing the same things that frustrate me.

I have been trying to sort out the problems with the event parking in the Moulsecoomb area and I have been pushed about from one department to another.

I am sure they are hoping I will soon get fed up and go away, giving us council rhetoric.

It was like listening to the Speaking Clock with none of these officers having any authority to make a decision.

We as a campaign group are not trying to put more expense on the council but trying to find a better solution to the problems we are having.

Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club are working hard and trying their best to help to settle this dispute.

These problems need careful discussions but that is not how this council seems to see it.

Warren Morgan loves to see himself in The Argus as the caring politician. But when it comes to the real issues he acts as though he is deaf and dumb.

And when do we get to hear what Geoff Raw is achieving on his high salary as chief executive? He is like the silent partner in this charade.

Start earning your money and set up a meeting with me and lets get this problem solved.

We are not going away.

The residents of East and North Moulsecoomb need to get this problem resolved but the way this council works it will need two years to work out what biscuit it will serve with the tea.
