BEING a lifelong Albion supporter I’m so pleased that at last we could actually be promoted to the Premier League.

Having missed out over the last few seasons we thoroughly deserve promotion if it does come.

The large support to every match has been amazing and the noise and verbal support exceptional at most games.

That’s why Saturday’s match against Blackburn, when young striker Akpom was substituted, was very disappointing.

I heard boos from a small section of the crowd.

He has had very little game time and was doing his best in a pretty average match.

This is not what the Amex support is about so cut out the booing and support all our players.

I would also like to know why the crowd number is no longer announced before the end of matches as we all love hearing if it’s a record crowd or not? Maybe somebody from the Amex would explain.
