CHOCOLATE lovers have been treated to Thorntons creations in Brighton for many years.
Along with the famed Choccywoccydoodah, Thorntons is one of the most recognised chocolate shops in the city.
The Thorntons store in North Street opened in 1983 and has since moved to Churchill Square.
It all started back in 1911 when travelling confectioner Joseph William Thornton opened a sweet shop in Sheffield.
The chain has now been running for just over 100 years with a total of 228 stores all around the UK.
Do you know what year the store moved to Churchill Square Shopping Centre?
The Volunteer pub was a popular venue in New Road, which has now been replaced by another favourite among revellers, the Mash Tun.
Landlords Jan and Dave Goodchild moved to the Nell of Old Drury in Covent Garden when they left The Volunteer.
Do you remember what the atmosphere was like at the pub before it became the Mash Tun?
Can you tell us which year was it rebranded?
