Donnelly is new Sussex boss

Sammy Donnelly is the new manager of the Sussex senior side.

The former Worthing, Shoreham and Three Bridges manager replaces John Suter, who stepped down in the summer.

Donnelly, who is currently vice chairman at Shoreham, will be assisted by Danny Hinshelwood. Donnelly's son Gareth, a coach in his own right, joins the management team.

The new manager's first game in charge will be against London in the Southern Cup Competition at Three Bridges on October 10.
