Waiting for some action on the bandstand

Are we going to see some action on the restoration of the bandstand on Hove seafront or not? I imagine that all the people of Brighton and Hove want to see it restored so why aren't we seeing any action?

Are we in for yet another summer in which we are going to be faced with our beautiful bandstand rusting away?

Brighton and Hove City Council's notice pinned to the fence proclaims it will be completed by summer 2009. All I can say is they had better get a move on.

I certainly hope the people of Brighton and Hove remember the bandstand when our local elections come around.
