Clarke and Bulman start for Reds
6:54pm Tuesday 23rd October 2012 in Sport By Steve Hollis
Billy Clarke makes his first league start in ten games as Crawley take on MK Dons at Broadfield Stadium.
Clarke replaces Jonathan Forte up front as Reds bid to end a run of nine games without a goal for any of their strikers.
The former Blackpool striker's inclusion is one of two changes to the side which won 1-0 at Hartlepool United on Saturday.
The other sees Dannie Bulman start for the first time in eight league games in place of Mike Jones on the left hand side of midfield.
Reds are boosted by the availability of Kyle McFadzean who had to be helped off at Hartlepool after being knocked unconcious in a collision with goalkeeper Paul Jones. McFadzean also had an X-ray on his ribs but has been passed fit to partner Claude Davis in the centre of defence.
Dons make four changes to the side which lost 1-0 at home to Stevenage at the weekend, including a recall for former Reds striker Charlie MacDonald.
Daniel Powell, Anthony Kay and Angelo Balanta also come in with Stephen Gleeson, Alan Smith, Jay O'Shea and Scott Allen all dropping to the bench.
Crawley (4-4-2): P Jones; Byrne, McFadzean, Davis, Sadler; Adams, Akpan, Simpson, Bulman; Clarke, Alexander. Subs: Kuipers, Connolly, Hunt, Torres, M Jones, Ajose, Forte.
MK Dons (4-2-3-1): Martin; Otsemobor, Doumbe, Kay, Lewington; Williams, Potter; Powell, Chadwick, Balanta; MacDonald. Subs: McLoughlin, Gleeson, Chicksen, Lowe, O'Shea, Allen.
