Leeds face selection decisions for Albion test

Leeds will assess their bumps and bruises before naming a side to face Albion tonight.

The Elland Road outfit are definitely without star striker Ross McCormack (ankle) but have others carrying knocks.

Michael Tonge (shoulder), Rodolph Austin (ankle) and Lee Peltier (ankle) were all reported to be short of 100% fitness going into the game.

Leeds played on Tuesday, beating Southampton 3-0 in the Capital One Cup.

Top scorer Luciano Becchio came off the bench in that game but is likely to resume his attacking partnership with El-Hadji Diouf tonight.

Assistant boss Mick Jones said ahead of the trip: “It will be a partisan crowd down there and a tough night for us but we have to try and make it a tough night for them too.

"We have loads of knocks and niggles after the high tempo cup-tie the other night but when we get to Brighton we will assess the situation."

Diouf has been an excellent signing out of free agency by boss Neil Warnock and, like McCormack and Albion right-back Bruno, has three assists to his name in league action this term.

Becchio has scored eight league goals and also has two assists.

I thought El Hadji Diouf had finished his short term contract, after failing to agree new terms, thought it ended at the end of October

I was at Middlesbrough when El Hadji Diouf spat at someone in the crowd, subsequently being fined at court. A nasty piece of work. In my view he and Warnock are made for each other.

He's going in Adams pocket tonight.
Diouf has been an excellent player at times for whoever he's played for unfortunately his behavior on the pitch has been a disgrace, it gives the minority racist morons an excuse to try and provoke him. Exactly what we don't need in the current climate, I look forward to sending him and Mr double standards Warnock home pointless.
Lets hope Gus has them playing to their optimum tonight and he's not afraid to make early changes if he needs to.

What price El-Abd or Diouf getting sent off tonight? Short odds, I reckon.
