Crawley captain Gary Alexander has been dropped for the first time this season.
Alexander has been an ever present in League One but drops to the bench after going 13 games without a goal.
Jonathan Forte - who missed the midweek defeat at Coventry due to illness - is the man handed the job of replacing Alexander up front alongside Billy Clarke. Forte has previously had loan spells at Notts County whose boss Keith Curle is apparently interested in bringing him back to Meadow Lane.
Reds boss Richie Barker makes just one other change to the side which lost at the Ricoh Arena. Nathan Byrne has recovered from an ankle injury and replaces David Hunt at right-back.
Notts County name the same team which won 2-0 against Colchester in midweek. Full-back Alan Sheehan comes onto the bench after passing a fitness test on a hamstring injury.
