Eastbourne Eagles have kicked off their team-building for next season by bringing back Adam Shields for a second stint at the club.
The 35-year-old Australian has agreed a season-long loan from Lakeside with Lewis Bridger moving in the opposite direction.
Shields was a popular figure with fans at Arlington during his first stint at the track before following Jon Cook to the Hammers in time for the 2007 campaign.
Meanwhile Eastbourne's commercial manager Chris Macdonald has stepped down from the post. Eagles have thanked him for his efforts in revitalising their club's sponsorship portfolio and are seeking a replacement.
