This looks a good move for young Barker who seems a good prospect. Let's hope he comes back having got some games and goals under his belt.

if we released Spaz from his contract could he still sign for a club (assuming he can find someone willing and able to pay him a wage of course). Just about understandable that Gus wont let him go for absolutely no contribution as that club clearly couldnt afford to give him a deal next season after his Albion contract is up
Short term gain needs to be balanced with longer term benefit for the player.

Good chance for George to show if he can step up. Consistent for the DS but always doubts over his stature possibly holding him back. Now he has the opportunity to prove doubters wrong against old pros and bruisers (sorry to be less than complimentary but its not so long since we were there to see it first hand). He might get a few chances to practice his penalties I fancy.

Good move the the young lad, hope he does us proud.

Gus us gutted for Sparrow, I think a lot of people are.
I would guess that Gus didn't have anything to do with the payment negotiations, probably those upstairs dealt with that.

I, 'think,' I am glad that we didn't bring anyone in, a top notch striker or a quality center back would have been nice but that was never going to happen.
There are so many players that so many people think should get an extended run of games, bringing in another player would just make things even harder.

The FA cup will start for us soon and we still have plenty of league matches to get through, there will be time enough for our existing squad players to shine. A good cup run might help come january, might help to keep players as well as sell them, a double edged sword really.

At last someone who can think for themself.Just look how Peterborough deal with nightclub drunks.Just once they had all 5 out the club.NUFC wanted LuaLua straight off their wage.At the Albion the club just turn a blind eye for some reason.

Funny you should mention it Southwick seagull, it's one person two names. Basically just chatting to itself waiting for someone else to join in.

You should of been at the trial to here what a super nice guy he is.Maybe you could ask yourself this. How do you think all the hard working players feel at the club that work hard for their money. The club has to many freeloaders on the wage bill.
