Claude Davis returns to the starting line-up as Crawley make two changes to the side which lost 2-0 to Sheffield United on Saturday.
The Jamaica international was only on the bench for the defeat to the Blades after injuring a knee at Stevenage the previous weekend but comes in at the expense of Joe Walsh.
The other change sees striker Billy Clarke replace midfielder Dannie Bulman which suggests Reds will revert from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2.
There is also a return to the bench for former Portsmouth player Shaun Cooper who has not featured since suffering a groin injury at Colchester back in September.
Portsmouth makes two changes to the side drew 0-0 against Preston on Saturday with Jake Jervis recalled by Birmingham and Izale McLeod dropped to the bench. Paul Benson and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing come in.
