Albion's home game against Blackburn Rovers has been provisionally rescheduled for Tuesday February 12.
The match will take place at The Amex on that date unless the Seagulls are involved in an FA Cup fourth round replay against Arsenal or Swansea.
Replays are due to be staged in the week commencing February 4, which clashes with international games.
Arsenal and Swansea have therefore been given permission to delay a potential FA Cup replay by a week.
Albion were originally due to host Rovers on January 26, the date of their fourth round clash against the Gunners or Swans.
The Seagulls could now play Rovers twice in three weeks as their trip to Ewood Park, washed out on December 22, has been rearranged for Tuesday January 22.
