Crawley defender Kyle McFadzean could still be on his way to Bristol City despite the change in manager at Ashton Gate.
Former boss Derek McInnes revealed the Robins were close to agreeing a deal with Crawley for McFadzean just hours before he was sacked on Saturday.
Sean O'Driscoll, the former Crawley boss who took over at City today, said: "There was already something in place to bring Kyle to the football club and that has not changed. That process had already started before I came in and it is on-going. I would like to get him through the door as quickly as possible."
