Bruno to miss Brum
5:00pm Wednesday 16th January 2013 in Sport By Andy Naylor
Bruno is not expected to be fit to face Birmingham on Saturday
Albion are likely to be without Bruno for the fourth match in succession at Birmingham on Saturday.
The Spanish right-back’s hopes of a comeback from injury at St Andrews have been hampered by the cold weather.
Manager Gus Poyet said: “The harder the pitches the less he can train, because it is an Achilles injury.”
Bruno, left, has missed five of the last six games with the Achilles problem.
Compatriot Inigo Calderon will deputise again at Birmingham following his return from knee trouble in last Saturday’s 2-1 home win against Derby.
Albion are giving a trial with the development squad to 17-year-old Plymouth goalkeeper Christian Walton.
Several Premier League clubs have been linked with Walton, including Southampton and Fulham.
Jake Forster-Caskey made his first appearance since returning from a loan spell with Oxford in a 1-0 friendly victory for the development squad at Bournemouth yesterday, secured by a goal from fellow midfielder Anton Rodgers.

Our poor Spaniards really don't like the cold and it's not fair on the delicate little things to ask them to play in this harsh climate of ours.
Come on Tony. Sort it out :)

I wonder if, at any time this season, we might see an Albion team on the pitch that includes Bruno, Caldi, Orlandi, David Lopez, Vicente and Ulloa ?
With over half the team, manager and coach shouting to each other in Spanish, poor old Charlie won't know what the tactics might be.
Was listening to an interview with a guy on keys and gray the other morning his name escapes me, but when he started out as 1st team coach at Bolton under big sam there were 21 nationalities in 24 man squad. !! So may be better our's is spanish or english poor old charlie might have really struggled then (as would i) although many languages have the same swear words :-)

The center backs do not have the same luxuary and I would hope that Gus is working on this.
