Claude Davis, right, re-joins Steve Evans
Central defender Claude Davis has left Crawley Town and signed for Rotherham United.
His contract, which still had 18 months to run, has been cancelled and Davis will now team up again with former Reds boss Steve, Evans.
Manager Richie Barker said: “Claude has just become a father again and his family home is in Sheffield. He came to me to last week to say that if possible he would like to be with a club nearer his home."
He made 53 appearances for the club and scored three goals.
