  • "I like this line up, and not at all surprised to see CMS on the bench. It seems that Gus wants this game won in the first 45.
Barnes has been scoring and had to be picked to start. If Buckley and Vicente, along with Barnes get us 2 goals in the first half then Hoskins can replace Vicente. If Buckley gets tired Lua Lua can replace him.

A rest for CMS, I get it but I can't understand why Ulloa paper work is taking so long.

CMS and Ulloa for the Arsenal match."

Vicente starts for Albion

Vicente has been handed his first league start of the season as Albion take on Blackburn at Ewood Park.

The former Spain international has replaced Craig Mackail-Smith for tonight’s Championship clash.

That was how Albion finished at Birmingham on Saturday when late substitute Vicente made his first appearance since August.

Gary Dicker has been named in midfield in place of Dean Hammond as the second of two changes from the Birmingham game.

There is still no Leonardo Ulloa who is yet to receive international clearance following his move from Almeria last week.

Marcos Painter is back on the bench for Albion.

Former Seagull Colin Kazim-Richards starts for Blackburn.

Albion: Kuszczak; Calderon, Greer, El-Abd, Bridge; Bridcutt, Dicker, Orlandi; David, Vicente, Barnes. Subs: Painter, Hammond, LuaLua, Buckley, Hoskins, Mackail-Smith, Ankergren.

Blackburn:  Kean; Kane, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson; Pedersen, Lowe, Murphy, Magnus Olsson; Kazim-Richards, Rhodes. Subs: Givet, Fabio Nunes, Dunn, Nuno Gomes, Rochina, Goodwillie, Usai.
