No skipper or his deputy for Arsenal at The Amex

Thomas Vermaelen will be out injured tomorrow Thomas Vermaelen will be out injured tomorrow

Arsenal will be without both their captain and vice-captain against Albion in the FA Cup at The Amex tomorrow.

Thomas Vermaelen picked up an ankle injury when he clashed with team-mate Aaron Ramsey as they went for the same ball in Wednesday's 5-1 Premier League win against West Ham at The Emirates.

Mikel Arteta has been out with a calf tear and Arsene Wenger confirmed this morning both players will miss the fourth round tie, together with Francis Coquelin (hamstring).

Tomas Rosicky, who has been out with a calf strain, returns to the Gunners squad with Abou Diaby, who missed the West Ham match due to illness.

An extra 500 tickets for the match, made available to home supporters by Albion, sold out within 40 minutes this morning.

Good news, we can do with all the help we can get for this one.

Excellent news also that the extra tickets have gone, should make for a fantastic Amex Stadium experience on Saturday. Let's really make some noise!

Also saw that Huddersfield have sacked Simon Grayson,
as the Queen song goes....'another one bites the dust' However, one does wonder how long this continual merry go round of sackings and appointments can go on. It wouldn't happen in a normal business.

That's excellent news for us.

Arsene is down to the bare bones in midfield now with only Rosicky, Arshavin, Wilshere, Diaby, Chamberlain, Corzola, Ramsey and Podolski to name but a few to choose from.

Poor guy :)

I'm not suprised Arsenal could'nt sell their allocation, their supporters don't travel well and get nose bleeds south of the Thames or north of Enfield!

Arsenal...sending out a 3rd rate team to play Brighton...and will still win!

About time "the seagulls" understood they are punching above their weight! Hence the good start to the season...but now flagging and struggling against the better teams in the division.

Before all the "fans" argue with me....You cant ignore the truth!!
