Bulman takes over as Crawley skipper
2:19pm Saturday 23rd February 2013 in Sport By Steve Hollis
Dannie Bulman takes over as Crawley's third captain in the space of just over three weeks for the clash against Leyton Orient today.
Bulman wears the armband in the absence of the injured Josh Simpson, who himself became skipper following the departure of Gary Alexander on loan to AFC Wimbledon.
Simpson's injury forces Reds boss Richie Barker into one change to the side which drew with Doncaster Rovers on Monday, Mike Jones returning to the midfield.
Former Albion midfielder Romain Vincelot makes his full debut for Orient in place of the injured Martin Rowland. That is one of three changes to the side which lost on aggregate to Southend United on Wednesday night, with Nathan Clarke and former Reds striker Charlie MacDonald also coming in.
Leyton Orient (4-4-2): Jones; Cuthbert, Baudry, Clarke, McSweeney; Cox, Vincelot, James, Cook; MacDonald, Mooney. Subs: Griffith, Smith, Odubajo, Grainger, Obafemi, Omozusi, Batt.
Crawley (4-4-2): P Jones; Dumbuya, Walsh, Connolly, Sadler; M Jones, Sparrow, Bulman, Adams; Clarke, Proctor. Subs: Maddison, Hunt, Essam, Torres, Smith, O'Brien, Elford-Alliyu.
