Hastings sink Crawley to reach semi-finals of Senior Cup
10:01pm Wednesday 27th February 2013 in Sport By Steve Hollis
Hastings United booked their place in the semi-finals of the Sussex Senior Cup with a 3-0 victory over Crawley Town at the Pilot Field.
Elvis Hammond gave United the lead midway through the first half and Zac Attwood scored twice in the space of nine minutes before the interval to complete the win.
The Ryman League side could have won by more against a Crawley team featuring four players with first team experience this season - Mark Connolly, Jonte Smith, Lateef Elford-Alliyu and Aiden O'Brien - with Rory Murphy hitting a post and Bailo Camara denied by Johnny Maddison.
