Buckley returns but star duo ruled out

Inigo Calderon returns today Inigo Calderon returns today

Will Buckley is back in action for Albion today – but there is no Vicente or Wayne Bridge in the line-up to face Huddersfield.

Buckley returns after a virus to take on the last team he scored against, back in mid-November.

Inigo Calderon replaces Bridge at left-back while Lewis Dunk comes on to the bench.

Vicente and Bridge are believed to have minor knocks.

Huddersfield make one change to the team which won 1-0 at Burnley on Tuesday.

Highly-rated attacking right-back Jack Hunt returns in place of Calum Woods.

Albion: Kuszczak; Bruno, El-Abd, Upson, Calderon; David, Hammond, Dicker; Buckley, Orlandi, Ulloa. Subs: Ankergren, Greer, Dunk, Forster-Caskey, LuaLua, Barnes, Mackail-Smith.

Huddersfield: Smithies; Hunt, Clarke, Gerrard, Dixon; Gobern, Danns; Robinson, Clayton, Scannell; Vaughan. Subs: Bennett, Lynch, Norwood, Wallace, Arfield, Lee, Novak.

Ref: Gavin Ward (Surrey).

I always think what makes a good storey is an answer to the question why? Why are Bridge and Vicente not available, injury, illness, emergency leave ......
