That last tweet came from a bemused Terriers fan.

Apologies, I got a bit behind there for a couple of minutes!

4:43pm

It became three goals in six minutes when Mackail-Smith was fouled just inside the box and DAVID LOPEZ converted the spot kick.

Lynch replaced Gerrard before play could resume.

And Ulloa exited to a standing ovation, Forster-Caskey taking his place.

4:40pm

Two minutes later ULLOA had his hat-trick as he outpaced the defence, rounded Smithies and shot into an empty net.

4:39pm

Albion regained the lead on 76 minutes from a corner Huddersfield felt should have been awarded. A Bruno cross flicked off a defender to lead to the flag kick and, when it was delivered by David Lopez, ULLOA rose to head inside the far post.

4:36pm

Vaughan's yellow was his tenth of the season and meant a two-game ban - starting against Albion's play-off rivals Middlesbrough in midweek.

Albion sent on Mackail-Smith for Buckley in the 74th minute.

4:29pm

Centre-back Clarke was again Huddersfield's saviour right in front of the visiting fans on 68 minutes - again from David Lopez. The Albion midfielder met a low cross with a perfectly timed right foot drive which was going wide of Smithies but Clarke stuck out a foot to block it a yard or so in front of goal.

Novak replaced Vaughan up front for Town in the 69th minute.

4:27pm

Arfield replaced Gobern in midfield on 65 minutes. Moments later Vaughan was booked for a foul on El-Abd.

4:25pm

As the pressure continued, David Lopez swung over a great cross from the right but Barnes headed over beyond the far post.

4:25pm

Albion were posing just sporadic threats. But they almost went ahead again in the 62nd minute after good graft from Ulloa. The centre-forward was second favourite to reach Buckley's under-hit low cross ahead of the near post but he got there first and laid the ball off to David Lopez, whose angled drive was cleared off line at the far post by Clarke.

4:17pm

Barnes went on for Dicker moments later - in the 57th minute - and immediately took up a role in support of Ulloa.

4:16pm

Buckley had a chance to run down the right on 56 minutes but had just one target - the distant figure of Ulloa beyond the far post - and was unable to pick him out.

4:11pm

4:10pm

Left-back Dixon picked up a needless booking for delaying a free-kick after tripping Buckley.

4:09pm

Orlandi was close to atoning for his first-half wasted chance just two minutes after the restart. He helped on Calderon's cross to Ulloa, who headed it back to him. Orlandi then flicked the dropping ball away from a defender and volleyed left-footed on the turn. His effort went wide of Smithies' dive - but just wide of the far post.

Second half is in progress.

3:46pm

Albion were on top - but Huddersfield dragged themselves level with a great bit of finishing in the 43rd minute. A cross from the left was headed back by Danns, helped on by Gobern and VAUGHAN, with his back to goal, beat Kuszczak with an overhead bicycle kick.

3:43pm

Centre-back Gerrard was booked in the 40th minute for blocking off Bruno just outside the box - but the Huddersfield was clearly angry at the decision, feeling he had no time to get out of the way of the home right-back's run.

3:40pm

Bruno produced a great bit of skill down the right which got Buckley homing in on the penalty area but his low cross failed to pick out a team mate - with Orlandi looking his most likely target near the penalty spot.

3:34pm

Tempers flared on 32 minutes when Danns floored Hammond with a late tackle. After consulting with his assistant closest to the incident, ref Ward showed the former Palace man the yellow card - to the dismay of home fans.

3:29pm

Orlandi should have doubled the lead four minutes later when a quickly taken free-kick by Buckley got him in behind his marker Hunt. But, one-on-one with the keeper, Orlandi could not guide the ball beyond Smithies.

3:23pm

Orlandi picked up the ball on the left and whipped in a fine cross to the near post, where ULLOA got in front of his marker to head home his first Championship goal at The Amex.

3:22pm

David Lopez did exactly the same from the resulting flag kick. This time Buckley got more power on his volley and saw it blocked. But the danger was not over.

3:21pm

When Buckley won a second corner, David Lopez pulled it back to the edge of the box for the winger, whose shot deflected off Clarke's block and over.

3:19pm

David was seeing a lot of the ball in areas just right of centre.

3:19pm

Most of Albion's better work early on involved David Lopez.  He did really well to bring the ball out of defence when Albion cleared a corner and swap passes with Buckley before standing up a cross to the far post. But Buckley could get no real power in his header and Smithies gathered easily.

3:16pm

Buckley made a reasonably promising start. He fed off an Ulloa touch to get to the byline but his cross from a tight angle went straight to the hands of Smithies.

3:11pm

Albion did not settle in the opening minutes. And when a foul on Buckley offered a chance to put the ball into the danger zone, Orlandi's free-kick failed to get past Danns on the edge of the area.

3:09pm

3:08pm

The visitors were looking to close down Albion as they attempted to play out from the back.

3:07pm

Then Hunt's cleverly angled pass from right-back was only inches too long for Vaughan in front of goal.

3:05pm

Huddersfield set up in their anticipated 4-2-3-1 but it soon became clear the wide men in the three would have licence to get forward. Scannell made a terrific break down their left before winning a corner which was headed away at the near post.

3:01pm

Game is now in progress, the teams having changed ends before kick-off.

Calderon is captain of the Seagulls today

2:53pm

Huddersfield make one change - Hunt for Woods at right-back - to the side which ground out a much-needed 1-0 win at Burnley on Tuesday.

2:52pm

You will have seen the key team news. We are told Bridge and Vicente both have minor knocks. The ever-willing Calderon comes in to defence and Will Buckley is not a bad player to bring in to attacking areas is he? Having said that, it's always disappointing when Vicente misses out.

2:44pm

So they made it into the top six. Now can Albion stay there against a Huddersfield side who have suddenly discovered some defensive backbone?

We commited just one foul in 45 minutes of play.

They had just one shot on or off target in 45 minutes of play.

We have one goal each.

No way a reflection of the game so far.

IMO--if things stay the same over next 10 mins would throw Lua Lua on--he must be desparate for a game and may be the tipping point if he can run at the and supply crosses for Ulloa.

One of the best results of the season at this stage. Some other good positives today:
1 Leicester lost
2 Watford Drew
3 We were able to sub three forward/midfielders, like for like
4 Foster-Caskey got a few minutes of 1st team play--good experience.
Downers---Palace won and Middlesboro beat Cardiff. But all in all a wonderful result and what a confidence booster. Hope the crowd got behind the team.
