England put Marler on the bench
12:04pm Friday 8th March 2013 in Sport
Joe Marler is on the bench for England
England coach Stuart Lancaster has made five changes to his team for Sunday's Six Nations clash with Italy with Joe Marler making way for Mako Vunipola in the front row.
Former Worthing Raider Marler takes a place on the bench as Saracens prop Vunipola makes his first start.
Lock Joe Launchbury, another former Raider, retains his place in the starting XV with Billy Twelvetrees among the replacements again.
Two further changes in the pack see Tom Youngs replace Dylan Hartley and James Haskell return at blindside flanker in place of Courtney Lawes. The injured Owen Farrell is replaced by Toby Flood at fly-half, while Danny Care takes over from Ben Youngs at scrum-half.
