Hayes makes debut as Crawley shake things up

Crawley boss Richie Barker has shaken up his team for the clash with play-off rivals Yeovil Town tonight.

Winger Nicky Adams loses his ever present record in the league this season as he drops to the bench along with Mike Jones and Jake Taylor.

In comes new signing Paul Hayes for his debut along with fit-again top scorer Billy Clarke and Sergio Torres in an attacking 4-3-3 line-up.

Clarke has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury but returns to form a three-pronged strike force with Hayes - who arrived on loan from Brentford yesterday - and Jamie Proctor.

Torres starts a league game for the first time in more than three months in a midfield trio along with Matt Sparrow and Dannie Bulman.

The only department Barker has left alone is in defence with Reds having kept three clean sheets in the last five games. That means Connor Essam keeps his place in the middle alongside Joe Walsh, with Mark Connolly remaining on the bench.

Yeovil make one change to the side which drew 0-0 at Hartlepool on Saturday with new signing Ben Gordon replacing the injured Sam Foley in defence.

Yeovil: Stech; Ayling, Burn, Webster, McAllister; Dawson, Upson, Edwards, Gordon; Madden, Hayter.

Crawley (4-3-3): P Jones; Dumbuya, Walsh, Essam, Sadler; Torres, Bulman, Sparrow; Proctor, Hayes, Clarke. Subs: Maddison, Hunt, Connolly, Adams, M Jones, Elford-Alliyu, O'Brien.
