Kuszczak pulls out of Poland squad

Tomasz Kuszczak sustained a back injury in the victory over Palace
Albion keeper Tomasz Kuszczak has pulled out of the Poland squad with a back injury sustained in Sunday's victory against Crystal Palace.
He was named for World Cup qualifiers at home to Ukraine on Friday and San Marino next Tuesday but was in obvious discomfort when he left the pitch and will now stay behind for treatment.
Albion have until Saturday week to make sure Kuszczak is fit for the visit to play-off rivals Nottingham Forest.

Oh sugar, I do pray that he is OK for the Forest game. No qualms about him being absent for Poland. Just want him fit for us. If I remember correctly it was Poland that denied England a world cup place at Wembley (I can't remember, about 1974/78 ish). Brian Clough I recall called their goalkeeper a clown.
Anyway, I hope it is just a precaution for Kuszczak. All seemed really innocuous when it happened. He is a key man in the same way as Bridcutt, Bridge and Ulloa so hope he is resting up as we speak.
