Crawley boss rues lapse in concentration
Boss Richie Barker felt Crawley paid the price for another lapse in concentration as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Shrewsbury Town.
Reds conceded in the first minute of the second half for the second week running but fought back to earn a point thanks to Andy Drury's header.
Shrewsbury goalkeeper Chris Weale made a number of good saves to deny Crawley a winner after saving a penalty from Billy Clarke in the first half.
Barker said: "I was disappointed to go a goal down. We talked about how we had conceded early in the second half the previous week during half-time but unfortunately we did exactly the same again.
"It must be something to do with a lack of concentration and the other concern is we only seem to play our best football when we go a goal down.
"We were by far the better team after they had scored but I said that last week as well and if we are not careful we won't be able to keep coming back against the better teams.
"We weren't at our best but that is seven points from the last three games so there are plenty of positives to take."
