Adam Virgo has officially announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 30.
The former Albion defender has been forced to hang up his boots due to knee damage.
Virgo knew the game was up after playing in a pre-season friendly for Crawley.
Talking exclusively inside tomorrow's Argus, he said: "I went up for a header and when I landed the pain was just excruciating."
Virgo speaks in an in-depth interview with The Argus about his injury woes, the moment he was told he was going to Celtic and the best and worst moments of his career.
