John Gregory is set to be named as the new manager at Crawley Town.
The former Aston Villa boss is expected to be unveiled at the Checkatrade.com Stadium tomorrow morning.
Gregory, 59, spent four years at Villa Park but has not managed in England since 2007 when he was sacked by QPR.
Bookmakers have stopped taking bets on Gregory replacing Richie Barker - who was sacked last Wednesday - with Crawley calling a press conference for 10.30am.
Gregory's first game in charge will be an FA Cup second round tie at Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
Martin Hinshelwood and Gary Alexander were in caretaker-charge for Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Crewe, a result which left them without a win in eight League One games.
