Oscar Garcia and Tomasz Kuszczak are in the running for monthly Sky Bet Football League awards.

Oscar has been shortlisted for the manager of the month prize for November.

Albion took ten points from four games, three of which were away from The Amex, during the month.

Their 1-0 success at Wigan particularly impressed the selection panel.

He is up against Dougie Freedman, Brian McDermott and Nigel Pearson.

Freedman led Bolton to three successive wins and dragged them out of the drop zone.

McDermott saw his Leeds side take nine points from a possible 12 while Pearson, at Leicester, finished the month on top of the table after three wins from four games.

Kuszczak is on the shortlist for the player of the month accolade.

The Seagulls goalkeeper conceded just two goals in four games and made some key saves, notably in the last minute at Wigan.

He goes up against Lloyd Dyer of Leicester, Ross McCormack of Leeds and Andre Wisdom of Derby.

Dyer scored against Watford and Millwall and created openings for others during the month.

McCormack was in irresistible form, scoring seven goals with his direct running and willingness to shoot. He followed up two fine finishes against Yeovil Town with all four Leeds goals in the 4-2 win at Charlton Athletic, including a sumptuous free-kick.

Wisdom, who is on loan to the Rams from Liverpool, combined some refreshing attacking play with solid defending for a side which conceded just two goals.
